A Contractor Who’s Also a PA Holds All the Cards.
In Illinois, a contractor can also be a Public Adjuster. You write the scope, then recommend your own crew for the repairs. Most owners say yes.
Pick someone else? You still earn your 20–30% on the claim. Either way, you get paid.
Illinois’ First PA Prep Course, Since 2012.
The exam is hard, and many have failed it before finding us. Our 3-day course skips the months of self-study and the stack of reference books. You get a distilled study guide, PowerPoint notes, daily quizzes, and in-class practice exams that show you exactly what to focus on.
Built and taught by veteran contractors and adjusters who designed it around the Illinois regulations and insurance law you’ll actually be tested on. In short, we teach to the test.
Using unlicensed contractors or roofers to generate leads violates the Public Adjuster Law. Those contracts are void, and accepting payment can be a Class 4 felony. Getting licensed is step one, and it’s exactly what we do.
A PA License Changes How You Get Paid.
We Don’t Disappear After You Pass.
Most schools cash your check and forget your name. We train you, license you, and back you up when the claim gets complicated.
Once You’re Licensed, Keep Building.

Before You Register.
What does a Public Adjuster do?
A PA is hired by the property owner when they disagree with the insurer’s settlement. You reevaluate the loss, determine a fair number, and negotiate it, often tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in the owner’s favor, and you earn a percentage of the difference.
Can a contractor also be a Public Adjuster?
Yes. In Illinois a contractor can also act as a PA. You write a fair scope of work and recommend your own company for the repairs. If the owner chooses a different contractor, you still earn your commission on the claim, often 20–30%.
