Types of Claims
There are three different types of claims (over $50K) our team at Contractors Network and Training Center in Chicago can help with.
Our Large Loss Claim Services and Network of Professionals
Policy reviews can be long and time consuming. We leverage a team of industry experts to review the property policy in depth. This review includes all coverages, along with any endorsements or exclusions that may affect the claim, as well as other critical information.
To properly handle a claim, the property’s value must be established. This ensures no deductions on the claim. Valuations are necessary to ensure co-insurance clauses are met, and to prevent any deductions on the settlement.
We utilize three storm search engines to prove a storm date. Even better, we have an independent meteorologist who’s worked for NASA and NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) who creates a convincing report regarding all findings. This ensures that if there was a storm date, we can prove it.
Our team includes HAAG certified inspectors, along with experienced roofers, masons, plumbers, and electricians who specialize in code compliance. Their combined expertise will help create the estimate to bring the property back up to code — prior to restoration.
We have a large network of estimators, industry specialists, architects, and other resources who combine their experience to write fully maximized Xactimate® estimates. This includes city ordinances and code compliance documentation.
During adjuster meetings, we represent the policyholder. Our experienced team has the versatility and experience in the commercial claim industry, and understands the complete process of extending coverage.
Insurance companies typically utilize engineers to deny valid claims. To counterbalance this, we choose our own well-known engineers to prove the opposite side of the insurance company’s argument. Our experts focus on the claim damage, refuting claims of compromised structural integrity.
When we disagree with the insurance company’s offer, it’s time to go to an appraisal. We have outstanding relationships with the appraiser industry. We work with fair appraisers who ensure your property is appraised not only for its value, but also for all policy coverages.
Sometimes you need the big guns! We have retained a number of the best and well-known lawyers in the industry. When the insurance company is being difficult, our attorneys will fight for, and win, the best possible claim result, over and over and over again!
Systems & Processes
With an innovative CRM, company systems, and high service standards, we provide consistent handling of claims from start to finish, so every client feels the quality of customer service is always at the highest level.
Working with Contractors Network and Training Center
What happens when you reach out to us? First, we will set up meetings with our network partners to discuss your claim. They will review your paperwork, visit the job site, and evaluate their value-add to your work. Working together is simple. Once the paperwork is signed, our team will go to work for you and the property owner. Recently we agreed to help a group that was denied roughly $500,000 in additional work for more than a year. Once approved, the contractor will then be able to do the work, typically making an additional $125,000 in profit. And that's after all fees and expenses have been paid. So, there's nothing to lose and only upside for everyone, including the property owner and you. And best of all, you haven't had to make one phone call to the insurance company, or deal with their paperwork, adjusters, engineers, Xactimate®, or worst of all — attorneys! Get in touch with our team at Contractors Network and Training Center in Chicago today to get started!
Why Choose Us?
Some contractors choose to go at it alone when it comes to large loss claims. But if you're fed up with "no" from insurance companies, all it will take is one phone call to get them to "yes." Our network goes to bat for you, which leaves you more time to make sales, do more real work, and have more time for yourself and your family. And if our network of professionals doesn't increase your claim, you don't pay a dime.
